I felt comfortable with the midwife and student midwife and felt I could discuss any worries with them.
Joyce Moone and Stephanie Hickman.
Friendly, knowledgeable, caring, attentive (fantastic).
The good care and I'm happy as my midwife Lynn Maidman is very kind, friendly and careful.
Approachable nice.
Antenatal class was good.
Would improve the initial introduction process to get an appointments for midwives. This was confusing and I ended up seeing Gp then really missed scan due to time passed
Friendly and approachable midwives.
Midwife Chris Hefferman.
Very reassuring as I felt nervous discussing certain aspects of labor.
Made to feel relaxed and it is obvious my midwife is speaking from a lot of experience which was very encouraging as this is my 1st baby and I was unsure which to expect. She told me everything I needed to know to the whole thing.
The majority of staff were wonderful and my 1 to 1 care immediately after my c-section was brilliant. However, half way through the first night I was moved to ward 17 and not given the amount of care I felt I needed out of bed, given contradictory information compared to day staff and not given enough help with my baby even though I was unable to move.
My midwife is thorough, attentive, compassionate, supportive and spends time getting to know her patient. Wouldn't change on this.
Could not ask for better.
